If you are interested in the following position, pls send your CV to wgq.hr@ before July.19 (Please note your preferred position title in the email subject) Internship Position 1: Assistant engineer Responsibilities: Conduct new product development projects and provide technical support under close supervision with the objective of meeting new product development and IP targets within the R&D policies, procedures and systems. 1. Product Development (35%) (i) Follow detail instruction of (Senior)development engineer to complete the rough sketches of items to be designed, either conventionally or with CAD equipment in multi-view fashion, in order to better understand the nature of the project (ii) Communicate with technician about design details; in order to meet targeted new product development timeline, spending and quality. (iii)Assist engineers to do testing 2. Technical Support (20%) Provide technical support; help to resolve product design issues; provide design for marketing promotion purpose; prepare model request to model makers in order to ensure customer satisfaction with TOSP's products and services. 3. Continuous Improvement (5%) Involved in product/process improvement (as feasibility research, target setting, design, testing, document drafting and presentation) projects in order to improve the product quality and operating process efficiency. 4. Testing (40%) Assist engineer to do testing and finish necessary report Selection Criteria: 1. Bachelor degree or master degree 2. Open minded, detail oriented, accountability, experienced with CAD tools (ProE, AutoCAD), good engineering drawing ability Internship Position 2: Entry Development Engineer Responsibilities: 1. Project management (10%) Perform assignment, which usually are simple and requiring minimum techinical expertise, exercises a little discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance, under the close direction of project leader in order to finish part of project within the required time and budget, failure to achieve results may cause delays in project schedules. 2. Product development (20%) 1). New Product: Get direction from supervisors to translate requirements into new product solutions. Involve in the process of new product development with close supervision, in order to complete own part in a practical and economical way. 2). Continuous Improvement: Follow established procedures and guidelines to participate in product/process/procedure/... improvement, provides analysis, or literary searches to test the feasibility, in order to enhance the quality or process efficiency. 3. Technical support (40%) Provide basic technical advice on given simple tasks or projects to other personnel in order to ensure the related process work properly. 4. Product qualification (10%) Understand the product testing procedures, equipments and evaluation techniques. Conduct routine analysis, and investigatory work according to an established plan. Record results and prepare simple technical reports. 5. Innovation & IP (5%) Provide innovative solutions to reduce product cost, improve product quality, process efficiency. Documents and communicates potential IP to ensure TE's IP is protected. 6. Product specification (15%) Follow the instructions to model or calculate actions using mathematics and other approaches to specify product characteristics in order to help to establish a standard characteristic of a product. Selection Criteria: 1. B.S. of Engineering with 0 to 6 months design experience 2. Understand basic technical theories, standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques. 3. Open minded, detail oriented and accountable 4. Be experienced with CAD tools (ProE, AutoCAD), good engineering drawing ability 5. Understands the importance of building up stable working relationships internally. |
