MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provide technical support and training for company IT systems.
2. Identify, resolve and track technical problems in a timely manner.
3. Create manuals / documentation for all Applications (SAP/Noggin/Intranet/other) and Infrastructure (WAN/LAN/PCs/Servers/Printers/etc)
4. Coordinate projects and manage deadlines as they relate to technology development within the company.
5. Assist with the purchasing of necessary hardware and software for the company. Get competitive quotes from reputable vendors, track orders and ensure timely delivery or requested items.
6. Assist with the maintenance of application servers and network infrastructure.
7. Assist production departments with various data conversion related tasks.
8. Maintain an inventory and catalog of hardware and software.
9. Assist with system backups and disaster recovery processes.
10. Assists with monitoring the network to ensure availability to system users.
11. Maintain an understanding of concepts and procedures of business processes in applications
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Bachelor degree or equivalent. Preferably in Engineering or Computer Science..
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
3. Strong Windows, PC and MS Office skills.
4. Experience with the Windows 2003 Server operating system and Ethernet networks.
5. Must be able to work well under pressure; able to prioritize jobs, tasks and projects; and detail orientated.
