Schlumberger is the world’s leading oilfield services company supplying technology, information solutions and integrated project management that optimize reservoir performance for customers working in the oil and gas industry.
Founded in 1926, today the company employs more than 80,000 people of over 140 nationalities working in more than 80 countries, has principal offices in Houston, Paris and The Hague.
Schlumberger began offering oilfield services in China in 1980, as part of the country’s effort to open its economy and introduce new technology. Through more than 20 years’ effort, Schlumberger has made great performance in China, and also, more and more intelligent Chinese students are recruited into Schlumberger, working in different functions in China and overseas.
