WCP – Software Development Engineer (Card Operating System)

Location: Beijing

 Basic Mission

·         Participation in design, code and tests of products (cards operating system) ensuring quality, efficiency and confidentiality of development; 

·         The development performed should be done according to priorities and objectives defined by the Project Leader. 

 

Main Responsibility 

·         Analyze external interfaces (marketing, regions, and manufacturing) requirements and specifications.

·         Low level design, coding, unit testing and bug fixing.

·         Test specification, implementation and execution while tracking bugs.

·         Be able to propose concepts which can be patented.

·         Be able to recommend suggestions to improve efficiency, security and quality.

·         Be able to communicate ideas & experiences with peers, technical and hierarchical management.

·         Autonomy, energetic, able to work under pressure, team player 

 Required qualities and skills

·         Master or bachelor degree on Computer related Majors

·         Knowledge in C, Visual Basic and embedded software development or smart card is preferred.

·         Good communication skills with fluency in written and oral English.

·         Team work spirit and sense of responsibility.

 

TI- PSE – Software Development Engineer

Location: Shanghai

 Basic Mission

·         Responsible for the development and validation of production software according to the priorities defined by the Project Leader.  This includes the definition of the software specification, software development, validation, and integration test in production environment. The software engineer is helped by the senior software engineer for specifications, design & integration of the solution.

 Main Responsibilities

D = Do, E = Ensure that it is done, P = Participate

 Development:           

·         P        - Software specifications, software design, under the monitoring of the senior engineer & project leader    

·         P        - Architecture and code review

·         D        - Software evolutions & bugfixes according to priorities defined by the project leader

·         D        - Validation & acceptance of the system developed

 

Validation:

·         D        - Software validation test plan redaction

·         D        - Development of test scripts for the software components developed by peers

·         P        - Integration test plan redaction

·         D        - Integration tests on desktop or factory equipment.

 Support / Maintenance:

·         D        - Track stakeholder requests with the corporate ticketing tool

·         D        - Provide reactive support to tickets

·         D    - Traceability between tickets & software evolutions using bug tracking tools

·         D        - Travel to factories for local support when necessary

 ·         Quality/Security:           

·         D        - Propose improvement on development tools and development methodology.

·         D        - Use of software engineering methods and tools (coding standards, code reuse rules, agile methodology...)

·         D        - Software configuration management for code tracking

·         D        - Apply security rules for confidentiality on products

·         D        - Refer to senior engineer for IP rights potential violation

 Job Responsibilities

·         Responsible for Server Application design, coding and unit test

·         Understands, efficiently executes and recommends new approaches to existing software development processes and procedures.

·         Capable of effectively communicate technical knowledge and negotiate technical issues within and across world wide teams.

 

Job Requirements (skills/experiences)

·         Hands-on programming skills with Java and Eclipse

·         Development experience on Java / JEE (EJB3) / Web (JSP, AJAX, Spring, Struts) applications.

·         Development experience on C++ on Unix system

·         Skills of JMS, JMX, Web Services, WSDL and SOAP

·         Skills of Hibernate, TopLink, EclipseLink

·         Experience on Application Server (Weblogic, JBoss)

 ·         Integration experience

·         Skills of Oracle and any experience on the DB design

·         Skills of Shell Scripts, SNMP

·         Responsible for defining validation strategy, test cases design and conducting validation activities for server applications

·         Implementation of test cases (scripts and tools)

·         Provide validation and test coverage reports

 Job Requirements (skills/experiences)

·         Experience on Application Server (Weblogic, JBoss)

·         JUnit / unitary test / validation tools (PMD, EMMA) knowledge

·         Development experience on Java / JEE (EJB3) / Web (JSP, AJAX, Spring, Struts) applications as a plus

·         Quality Center / QTP knowledge as a plus

·         Skills of Oracle DB usage
