Role
to provide daily IT support to Volvo users worldwide for web based application systems and continuously improve system functionality and performance
Key Responsibility
Provide excellent daily support to Volvo users worldwide to protect on-going business.
Proactively identify improvement areas including system, business process and IT support process.
Monitor system performance.
Continuously improve system functionality and performance and related processes.
Responsible for system version upgrade activity.
Develop IT service performance KPI and measure IT service performance.
Analyze business requirements and provide sound system solutions.
Regularly communicate with business users and customers about service level and business requirements and seek feedback.
Develop and enhance ITIL based service management processes.
Main competence requirements
Bachelor and/or Master degree with majors in, but not limited to, computer, automation, electrical engineering, information technology, etc..
Excellent oral and written English skills,
Excellent oral and written Korean, Japanese is a big plus.
Good learning agility.
Good understanding and experiences in MS SQL server, web based development such as .Net, , JavaScript, HTML, C#, C++, and development tools such as Visio Studio.
Good understanding and experiences in WCF/Web services.
Holding MCAD / MCSD certificates is a plus.
Good documentation skills, good sense on knowledge management.
Strong communications skills.
Strong initiative-taking and follow-through skills, strong ownership and sense of responsibility and be proactive.
A good team player.
Good thinking and problem solving skill.
Ability to work effectively in a flexible, changing and challenging environment, manage multiple activities and priorities and work well under pressure.

to design / develop / test web based application systems and other application systems

Design system framework.
Establish coding rules.
System coding and testing.
Develop system documentation, user training materials and work instruction.
Identify the improvement opportunity and optimize the performance of system.
Trouble shooting for the issues identified.
Analyze business requirements and provide sound system solutions.
Main competence requirements
Bachelor and/or Master degree with majors in, but not limited to, computer, automation, electrical engineering, information technology, etc..
