Position1- OPD Software Engineer (Intern)

Location: Shanghai Cao Hejing

Responsibilities:

1. SW design and develop embedded software for Ethernet switch equipment 

2. Implement new SW features based on requirements and specifications provided by

the Systems Engineering team

3. Subsystem test, SW feature test

4. Write and maintain design documentation.

5. Participate in reviews and code-inspections

6. Investigate and solve software problems reported by the Test- and Customer

Support Teams.

 

Requirements:

1.        Experience and ability:

a)         Preferred Major: Communication engineering, Computer Science or related

b)         Preferred Degree: Master or above, grade 2 or aboved.

c)         Be familiar with SNMP protocol and MIB standard is preferred.

d)        Good understanding the functionality of L2/L3 forwarding, and

corresponding knowledge such as 802.1ad, 802.1q, 802.1x.  And it is preferred to

familiar with Y.1731, 802.1ag, 802.3ah, MPLS/TMPLS/MPLS-TP, etc.

e)        Good master software development tools like Clearcase, DDTS

f)         L2 Switch/EoS development experience is preferred

g)        Better to be familiar with SW development process (like CMM/CMMI)

2.        Language ability

a)        CET 6 or equivalent English skills

b)        Good command of English in listening / speaking /reading /writing

3.        Other requirements

a)         Hardworking, with strong accountability

b)         Open-minded, with good team work spirit

c)         Self motivated

 

Position2- OPD WDM HW (Intern)  

Location: Shanghai Cao Hejing

 

Responsibilities:

1.     Follow process to do optical component qualification and hardware

integration test of WDM product.

2.  Write specification for optical component based on system

design requirements.    

3.  Write test document including test strategy, test plan, test case list

and test report.

4.  Regular report on test progress.

Requirements:

1. Education background: 2nd year post graduate student.

2. Major in: Telecommunications, Electronic Engineering, and Optics or related.

3. Language ability: Good command of both English and Chinese in verbal and

written.

4. Knowledge of electrical design and optoelectronics.

5. Familiarity with the specification of optical components and subsystems.

6. Knowledge of DWDM/SDH systems architecture and protocols is a plus.

7. Good team work, strong analytical and problem solving skills.

8. Guarantee 3 to 5 days per week. The internship will start from this November

(ASAP) and last at least half a year.
