Our client is a Materials Technology Group. For this client, Talent Fishers is looking for a Country Manager to be based in Shanghai; to accompany the growth in China of one of its businesses specialized in Titanium-Zinc products in the form of sheets, coils and manufactured products and systems.

Job description

The Country Manager will be in charge of:

• Setting up the BU Building Products representative in China.
• Defining the local market strategies in line with the strategy and operational objectives of the Business Unit Building Products.
• Set up the business policies aiming at maximizing the BU profits while complying with corporate directives i.e for legal, fiscal, accounting, administrative and human resources matters.
• Fully manage the operational activity including partnerships, sales & promotion & marketing, technical support for roofing and high range fa?ade applications:
• Budget execution
• Sales organization
• Delivery performance (quality, cost, delay)
• Ensure the profitability, commercial performance and financial results of the subsidiary.

Job requirements

• Bachelor/Master in Civil Engineering with minimum 10 years working experience (including strong management experience).
• Strong commercial experience in the specification process towards the designers and architects of high range envelop solutions.
• A solid network of contacts in this field would be a clear plus for the job.
• Deep knowledge of the Project Management in the Construction field in Greater China (particularly roofing and fa?ade applications) and Construction requirements, including local norms and legislation.
• A technical competence in metal transformation and/or in metal applications on building envelop would be appreciated.
• Successful experience in the management of a small to middle size technico-commercial team with a large size international Group.
• Full P&L exposure.
• Good experience with people management.
• Ability to tackle challenging projects which require a combination of business, organization and technical issues in order to provide maximum value to clients needs.
• Fluent in English and Chinese.
