Synergy Design & Development is an American-owned sourcing company operating from Shanghai. For over 7 years Synergy has sourced and overseen production on a variety of different products and provided merchandising services to top-retailers. We are looking for a person who is eager to learn, enthusiastic, result-oriented, efficient, with good logical thinking and doesn't mind playing a supporting role in the office.
THE MISSION
Join this organization now as an Office Assistant. After periodical training and evaluation, the INTERN will have the opportunity to work as Sourcing Assistant. Sourcing Assistant can play a more important role in our Merchandising Team and we will provide competitive benefits for qualified INTERN then.
REQUIREMENTS AND DETAILS
- English level: CET-6 / TEM-4 or above
- You are Shanghainese
- Experienced in Excel, Word, Outlook
- Job type: Internship
- Job location: Luwan district, near Huangpi Rd. subway station

Our well-educated staff of 9 persons are fully bilingual and trained to maintain the highest levels of customer service found in China. Our team can source and oversee your production on a variety of different products.
You will be assigned to one of our Account Executives who is best suited and experienced in the type of products that you buy. Occasionally, another Account Executive may step into a transaction to bring more appropriate experience to the table. Still, you will generally have one single English-speaking point of contact with Synergy. This keeps your dealings with the company simple and easy.
Synergy operates at a low margin because all expenses are incurred in China. We maintain relationships with hundreds of qualified factories and influential persons who know how to get your order done correctly and quickly. We help you to communicate to us clearly and correctly exactly what you need. Negotiating in China is always a bit challenging and changes made after a quotation is provided can be more expensive than logic dictates they should be.
