AstraZeneca, one of the world's leading pharmaceutical companies, has developed a unique international program for Graduates and Operations Professionals in their early career. The aim is to attract, recruit and develop high calibre individuals and provide them with world-class opportunities and experience to enable them to become the AstraZeneca Global Operations leaders of the future.

The program is a three year investment that offers broad professional training and work experience across AstraZeneca's Operations business

The program is set up as 3 x 8 month placements over the first two years, followed by a 12 month capability consolidation role, to include a period of at least 3 months working and living overseas.

Roles will be based in various areas and departments of our wide and complex organization and carry real responsibility and opportunity for development. These will include Engineering(need automation major), Supply Chain, Quality(need pharmacy Major) and Procurement. Your exact career path will be discussed with you during the interview process and beyond.

We will continuously support your development as a leader through coaching, mentoring and your participation in an international Operations Graduate network within AstraZeneca. Performance will be assessed throughout - with progression toll gates built in at the end of each year.

Placements start in September 2010 and will be based at one of our Global AstraZeneca sites.

By giving you vital industry exposure, this programme is the perfect springboard to a senior position within AstraZeneca.

You will have either a Bachelor's and/or Master's degree coupled with an outstanding academic record. As we are a Global organization, you will also need to be fluent in English. Additional language skills are desirable, especially Mandarin or Chinese, Swedish or another European language. Demonstrable experience in any form of leadership experience is seen as a bonus.
