Position:   Inside Sales Executive

& Support

Team:        Inside Sales Team

 

Location: Shanghai, China

 

 

Job Summary:

The primary responsibility of the Inside Sales Executive is to generate new software license opportunities and incremental revenue by systematic up & cross-selling in a set of installed base and/or new accounts.

 

 

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

§         Territory Planning

-          Analyze assigned territory (e.g. identify industry clusters, segment accounts, identify references…);

-          Identify partner network and other internal and external resources;

-          Define coverage strategy and action plan;

§         Pipeline Generation and Execution

-          Develop Opportunities by qualifying discovered Leads, and progress opportunities along the sales cycle to closure

§         Drive Software Sales

-          Drive opportunities, generate revenue and being responsible for opportunities below a predefined value;

-          Effectively execute prospecting efforts to maximize coverage and discovering leads and opportunities

§         through cold calling based on extensive market analysis (direct prospecting)

§         through follow-up of Marketing Campaigns run by the Tele Marketing/Demand Generation Teams (indirect prospecting)

§         through creating, executing and follow-up own Marketing Campaigns (indirect prospecting)

§         through leveraging partners, AE’s and further network (indirect prospecting)

-          Build relationships using the appropriate systems and tools in order to increase customer loyalty and to become a trusted advisor for assigned territory/industry

 

 

Requirements:

§         Recent graduates with academic excellence in Economics, Business or Computer Science

§         Highly customer oriented

§         Analytical, results-driven and have a solution-oriented approach

§         Able to fluently communicate both verbal and written Business level English as well as a native language would be an advantage

& Support

Team:        Active Global Support Team

 

Location: Shanghai, Beijing

 

 

Purpose & Objectives:

SAP Active Global Support protects customer's investment and enables continuous improvement.  Established in 2004, Solution Operations Support China is playing an important role within SAP Active Global Support and has since become the fastest growing location globally. With our help, customers can manage the technical quality of their solution landscapes and adapt their existing SAP solutions to the ever changing market conditions and business requirements.  With our global delivery model, CoEs from China are helping our top global customers in Asia Pacific, Europe, U.S. and Latin America.  During the past years, we have achieved excellent business results and received high customer recognition.

 

 

Expectations and Tasks:

§         Support local and international key accounts during implementation of mission critical projects by safeguarding services, e.g., risk assessments, technical and functional business process improvement, empowerment

§         Optimize SAP solutions through continuous improvement over product lifecycle

§         Deliver first-class services remotely and onsite to our customers globally

§         Manage critical customer situations

§         Participate in onsite service delivery for customers in Asia Pacific, Europe,
U.S. and Latin America

§         Coordinate and schedule service engagements as a Technical Quality Manager

§         Maintain onsite and remote service contents

 

Education and Qualifications:

§         Master or Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, or other Engineering related majors;

§         Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English

§         Detail-oriented, excellent analytical skills and effective problem solving skills

§         Strong and convincing personality for interaction with customers

§         A real team player with initiative and 'can do' attitude who learns and adapts quickly in an international environment

§         Being able to work under pressure, in critical situations and under tight deadlines
