Intern/ Assistant Researcher for Quantitative team

The Job:
1. Translate questionnaires from English to Chinese or vice versa accurately
2. Assist to develop code frames to accurately and comprehensively capture the open-ended questions
3. Write DP specifications to ensure the specs accurately reflect the data processing requirements
4. Assist to exQtract data and figures from computer tabulations to provide useful and meaningful data for further analysis by senior members of the team
5. Assist to design questionnaires by applying knowledge and techniques in writing basic questions
6. Assist to implement Synovate techniques and programs to produce meaning and presentable graphic charts
7. Assist senior members on ad hoc projects as assigned

The Person:
1. Full time university graduate major in statistics, English or marketing preferred
2. Effective communication skills are critical, as is the capability of logical thinking, and being attentive to detail
3. Excellent command of written and spoken English
4. Must be a good team player sharing work across colleagues
5. Able to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently
6. University student available 4-5 days a week who want to develop career at Marketing Research

Intern/Assistant Researcher for Qualitative Researcher

The Job:
1. Prepare screeners and invitation letters for recruitment
2. Assist to deliver fieldwork briefing to ensure the interviewers are clear about the purposes and logic of the flow of the screening questionnaires 3. Liaise with fieldwork operations to ensure the progress of recruitment is well communicated and monitored to minimize disruption of delays
4. Assist senior members on the logistical organization of focus groups
5. Assist senior members on analysis and draft report to present easy-to-read and meaningful linkage to conclusions
6. Assist in proposal preparation and cost estimation to achieve competitiveness and cost effectiveness
7. Assist senior members on ad hoc projects as assigned

The Person:
1. Full time university graduate major in sociology, English, psychology or marketing preferred
2. Enthusiastic and willing to work hard
3. Willing to travel and well-planned & detail oriented
4. Good communication skill both in mandarin and English
5. Basic office software application skill required
6. Good communication and interpersonal skill
4. Must be a good team player sharing work across colleagues
5. Able to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently
6. University student available 4-5 days a week who want to develop career at Marketing Research
