昆明理工大学津桥学院概况

昆明理工大学津桥学院是在中国高等教育快速发展和高等教育制度不断创新的大环境下，依托昆明理工大学优质的教育教学资源和云南省城市建设投资有限公司有力的资金支持和丰富的社会资源，经省教育厅审核，国家教育部批准，2001年成立的一所全日制本科独立学院。

学院现占地面积175亩，规划面积350亩，地处昆明市国家高新技术产业开发区海源北路，以“环境生态化、景观园林化、校园信息化”为设计思想，书院型的欧美建筑风格营造出幽雅的学习生活氛围。学院拥有一流的图书馆、学生活动中心、电教中心、网络中心、多功能报告厅、语音室、实验室、学生公寓和覆盖学校园区的宽带信息网络，是一个文明与现代相融合的新型大学。

     津桥学院牵手世界育人才，着力开展与国际知名大学、国际教育机构的交流与合作，同美国、英国、泰国、马来西亚等国家及中国台湾地区的二十多所大学有着密切合作。不同年级的在校生均可参加不同类型赴海外学习交流的国际项目，包括海外冬夏令营、短期留学、交换学生、学分转换与互认、硕士直通车等，同时每年还有很多国际学生赴我院参加各种大学生交流活动。拓宽学生多层次留学途径，提供与国际接轨的平台。

     津桥学院立足经济和社会发展需要，开展深入的人才市场调查，贴近就业市场需求设置专业，经过八年的建设和发展，形成了五大学科，即经济管理学科、信息科学学科、语言学科、建筑与规划学科和法学学科，设有计算机科学与技术、电子信息科学与技术、英语、对外汉语、国际经济与贸易、工商管理、物流管理、市场营销、会计学、信息管理与信息系统、法学、城市规划、建筑学、汽车维修工程教育、信息与计算科学、土木工程和水利水电工程，共17个专业。

Introduction

    OxbridgeCollege is an independent college under Kunming University of Science and Technology sponsored by Yunnan Metropolitan Construction Investment Co. Ltd.. It has been approved to be set up by the Education Department of Yunnan Province and China Education Ministry as an independent college for four years full-time undergraduate bachelor’s programs.

    OxbridgeCollege is located in “SpringCity” --- Kunming, the capital city of YunnanProvince. It is neither cold in winter nor hot in summer. The beautiful natural scene and delightful weather provide comfortable environment for studying and living. OxbridgeCollege has an area of 11.7 hectare and will expand to 20.7 hectare in the future. The campus is composed of academic section, comprehensive section, residential section and fields for sports. The building, covering a construction area of more than 10,000 square meters, has a pleasant environment and provides enough space for the classroom, labs& equipment, and library with books and documents necessary for teaching and scientific research.

    OxbridgeCollege sets specialties according to the demand of society and economy development, opens up up-to-date courses, adopts outstanding teaching system, educational resources and authorized standard from foreign countries.
