  • Introduction to our company

     

    US-based TRAX Internationalww***com[点击查看]is one of world’s leading producers of power plant and industrial process simulators for training and engineering analysis.  TRAX has delivered simulators and simulation systems to customers on six continents and in numerous countries throughout the world.

     

    TRAX ASIA was established in 2002 in the Zhongguancun hi-tech development zone of Beijing, China.  TRAX Asia is a foreign invested company in China owned by US-based TRAX International.  TRAX Asia is mainly responsible for the development of power plant simulators in China and in the Asia-Pacific region. 

     

    The basis of TRAX technology is the ProTRAX simulation system software.  ProTRAX is a high level process simulation package that can be used for many types of process and control simulation. The software was originally developed in 1987 and since has been continually update and improved.  ProTRAX has a large user base and is widely accepted as an industry standard throughout the world.

     

    With the on-going demand both nationally and internationally for reliable, efficient and clean electric power, TRAX ASIA is focused on the stable expansion of its simulators business in China and in the Asia-Pacific region. Presently TRAX Asia is undertaking many simulators projects in Malaysia, Korea, Indonesia and China.

     

    ***  Marketing Associate Position                as of 09/12/2009

    Manage and evaluate the marketing efforts of both TRAX’s domestic and international markets toward sales growth, and marketing advancement, by performing the following duties personally or through team.


    Essential Duties

     

    Marketing

    1. Manage marketing goals (established by senior management) to grow market share, profitability of TRAX line of products (Power Plant Simulators) and services (STP-Simulator Training/ASTP –Advanced Simulator Training)

    2. Ensure effective control of marketing results and that corrective action takes place in timely fashion (supervised by Marketing Director), to be certain that the achievement of marketing objectives are within designated marketing budgets (Marketing cost analysis required).
    3. Interpret and translate marketing results into useful and actionable data for marketing and other functions within the organization; ensure findings are effectively applied to existing and future plans and strategies in China and Asia.
    4. Recommend changes in structure and organization of marketing department, to ensure the effective fulfillment of objectives assigned to it and provide the flexibility to move swiftly in relation to marketing threats and opportunities.

    Sales

    Proven track record in projects management or driving sales within the enclosed power plant simulator environment. Energy Industry category experience would be a strong advantage.


    Teamwork

    1. Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration and action amongst TRAX different departments toward strategic and tactical goals.
    2. Work with engineering team to ensure on-target development and execution of power plant simulator projects.  

    Customers

    1. Direct the market research studies to understand potential customers’ attitudes and behavior toward TRAX.
    2. Continuously seek ways to improve marketing products and services as delivered to current TRAX customers.

     

    Partners, Governmental Institution & Holding Investment Cies

    1. Manage and leverage relationships with DCS vendors and other partners.
    2. (Whenever possible) forge alliances with local governments, holding investment companies and governmental institutions

    3. Improve our network (e.g: agents) within the power plant simulator industry.

     

     

    Supervisory Responsibilities

     

    Directly report to Marketing Director. Responsibilities include planning, assigning, directing work and resolving problems.

    Qualifications


    Education/Experience:
    Undergraduate degree in Engineering and Marketing is required. Strong understanding of the Chinese power plant simulator industry a must.

    Communication Skills: (computer, office equipment, etc.):
    The ideal candidate will be energetic and possess good written, verbal and platform communication skills. The Marketing Associate must be able to clearly and effectively communicate with a wide variety of individuals (clients, suppliers) with varying degrees of experience and business acumen.

    Computer literacy is required with a strong familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.

     

    Languages: Chinese native – English required – French a plus

    Position duties

     

    1.     Company internal services: Supervises company’s daily administrative operations and assists to set up and execute office policies. Manage the administration team and report to the Office Manager.

    2.     Document relevant files based on the requirements of different governmental offices.

    3.     Support tax supervisor for the monthly declaration and annual registration when necessary.

    4.     Support marketing and engineering teams when necessary.

     

    General requirements

     

    ·         At least 1 year working experience in administration, or HR management

    ·         Good communication skills and strong sense of service

    ·         English language competence (including listening, speaking, reading and writing).

    ·         Self-motivator and team player
