Draft Program:
12-month training in abroad (Singapore, Dubai, Europe etc.). We offer competitive package for appropriate candidates during the period of training. We reserve the right to adjust the program in accordance with the candidates / Company’s requirements.
Details Description of Training Program
Training Duration: 12 months commencing 1 July 2010 up till 30 June 2011
Training Location: First 6 months in Singapore and the subsequent 6 months in a country nominated by the Company, both subject to obtaining relevant visa.
Scope of Training Program Phase1 – Rotational Attachment
Six months rotational attachment as follows:
Function Duration
R&D Department: 4 months
Commercial Operations: 1 week
Human Resources: 1 week
Marketing: 1 week
Finance: 1 week
Global Accounts: 1 week
Call Centre: 1 week
Sales: 1 week
Phase II – Regional Attachment
6 months in regional operational role; location to be defined depending upon opportunity and company requirements.
* Scope of the Training Program is subjected to changes at the discretion of the Company
Training Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 6.00pm. Occasionally, training outside of the normal hours will be required.
Training Allowance Training Phase: Amount per month
Phase I–Rotational Attachment SGD1,500 per month
Phase II – Regional Attachment USD1,200 per month
Training Benefits Type of Benefits Description
Personal Leave Total of 15 days for the entire Training Duration
Healthcare
Group insurance coverage to be extended to you for the entire Training Duration
Training Expenses Type of Expenses Description
Air Ticket A return economy class air ticket Singapore-Beijing/Shanghai-Singapore (and other destination as assigned) will be provided.
Accommodation Shared accommodation in a serviced apartment or equivalent will be provided during the Training Duration.
Costs of Training The Training Program will cost the Company expenses relating to the Training Allowances, Training Benefits and Training Expenses (collectively the “Training Costs”) amounted to USD27,487. Upon successfully completion of the Training Program, you have to select either of the following options:
(a) Bonded Employment Contract. You can sign up with the Company or an appointed related company at the Company’s discretion, a bonded employment contract. The employment bond shall be for a period of 2 years and job designation will be “Assistant Manager” or equivalent level. Actual role will be specified closer to the date of completion of the Training Program, subject to job-fit, career intent and company requirements. In the event that you fail to complete the 2year employment bond, you will be required to pay back a prorated amount of the Training Costs.
(b) Payment in Cash. Pay to the Company the Training Cost within 14 days of successful completion of the Training Program, failing which outstanding amounts will attract a late payment penalty of one percent (1%) per month.
Training Conditions Conditions Description
Completion of Training Program You are expected to complete the Training Program. If you fail to do so (whether by electing to resign from the Training Program or abandoning the Training Program or otherwise), you will be required to pay to the Company the actual Training Costs incurred.
Company’s right to terminate Training Contract for Cause Company reserves the right to terminate the Training Contract at any time during the Training Duration should you behave inappropriately or contrary to the conditions stated in the Training Contract. In such an event, you shall pay to the Company the actual Training Costs incurred.
Company’s right to terminate Training Contract without Cause Company reserves the right to terminate the training contract at any time by serving on you a 1 month written notice. In such an event, all Training Costs shall be borne by the Company.
