Looking for an interesting job where you can also improve your English?
Angel English, a small, newly-established training centre in Shenzhen, is looking for an assistant to the director, who is a foreigner with very little Chinese, as yet. We are totally non-discriminatory, but the post would probably best suit a Chinese female.
Responsibilities would involve normal office duties, including providing information to potential clients.
The candidate should be a native speaker of Mandarin. (Cantonese would be a plus.) English level should be upper-intermediate or beyond. Computer skills are essential, particularly a knowledge of Microsoft Office. A good telephone manner is also a requirement.
The position could be either full-time or part-time. The full-time salary will be negotiable depending on skills and experience.
The full-time post would perfectly suit a recent English language graduate who wants to ‘get a foot in the door' to employment whilst also having the opportunity to practise and enhance the English skills they have spent so much time learning.
The part-time post would allow a current English undergraduate to earn some cash while gaining some real firsthand experience of English in the workplace.
Hours would be afternoons, evenings and weekends for full-time/evenings and weekends for part-time. (Again, this is negotiable.)
Location: Nanshan, Shenzhen.
