POSITION SUMMARY:
    Based on direction from Supply Chain Management of WAI China, this position will execute sourcing duties for unit-NA &China products, such as alternators, starters, DC motors, components, etc to implement global sourcing objectives.
   
    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    1.    Make sure and complete unit-NA &China and components sourcing projects timely.
    2.    Search and identify new qualified unit-NA &China and component products suppliers in China.
    3.    Negotiations with key suppliers, including negotiations on cost, terms, and initiatives.
    4. Maintain current supplier base.
    5. Complete aftermarket sourcing projects timely.
    6. Part of Supply Chain optimization projects.
    7. Timely report in an appropriate tool and level of detail.
   
    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITES
    This position will have no subordinates.
   
    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
    1. College Degree or above majoring in Engineering or other related majors.
    2. Sourcing experience in Auto industry is a plus.
    3. Supplier agreement negotiation & management skills.
    4. Tooling knowledge and Product knowledge in alternators and starters.
    5. Familiar with quality management and TS16949.
    6. Fluent English and Chinese communication skill.
    7. Willing to travel by short notice.
    8. Hardworking, quick learning with strong sense of timing.
    9. Knowledge of APQP process.
