OTR Global, an international independent research firm with headquarters in New York and San Francisco, is hiring a fulltime Shanghai-based Research Associate.
Qualifications:
Graduate degree in business, journalism or finance and 2-3 years experience in a relevant field.
Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and good English language and writing skills are a must.
Strong research background with ability to perform independent, in-depth research on quick turnarounds.
70% research, 30% admin
Must be a Chinese citizen with the ability to commute daily to Shanghai office
The candidate will work closely with the Asia Strategist to support the company's rapidly increasing research capacity in China. Responsibilities include regular research and media monitoring across a variety of sectors, translation of research proposals and published reports and assisting research teams in the development of new and ongoing projects.
