CBD is a design studio originally founded in Denmark. In early 2000, CBD has expanded into Asia, and is now recognized as one major design consultancy in China. Our unique relationships with first class Chinese brands enable designers to be deeply involved in the design activities, on a technical and strategic base.

We are currently looking for a junior designer to join our team. You are creative, passionate and looking for challenges and responsibility in your work. You want to develop your skills in a fast-growing consultancy environment, working for some of Chinas largest companies. CBD Group offers you an exciting and varied position within an international and busy atmosphere. The staff is a combination of European and Chinese designers – engineers working closely with our skilled marketing department. It is for you an opportunity to fulfil your aspirations as a designer action in a wide range of design activities for the domestic and international market.

Responsibilities

- Industrial design: taking part in all phases of projects, from market research through to launch

- Traveling within China for market research trips and/or Client meetings

- Attending client meetings

Skills and Personal Characteristics

- Fluent in written and spoken English

- Minimum of 1 year industrial design working experience or internship with successful cases.

- Excellent visual communication skills, especially with sketching and Illustrator rendering. 3D skills are a plus.

- Must be able to work efficiently under the pressure of tight deadlines.

- Creative; you should bring energy and passion for design.

- Problem Solving skills; able to approach and solve day to day problems independently.

- Must also be patient, friendly and able to work and communicate with different nationalities and cultures.

Specific qualifications

− Degree: Bachelor or Master of Industrial Design or equivalent.

− Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
