招聘职位: Quality Assurance Chemist(招聘化工相关专业应届本科或硕士毕业生)

工作职责:
1. GENERAL SUMMARY: Briefly state the primary purpose of the position.
This position is responsible for making overall quality assessment during product introduction process. Develops specification parameters and quality assurance test methods for products and raw materials. Performs analytical testing to develop specifications, QA test methods, and/or address product quality issues. Assists other members of the CQPR in regards to product maintenance. May get involved in special projects out side of the regular job function.
2. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Please list the essential functions for this position listing the most important first. • Manages Product Introduction process (PIP), which oversees integrity of product formula, product names, numbers, specifications, and test procedures.
• Implements new product introduction by;
o Defining the chemical composition and nomenclature for manufactured substances.
o Developing product specifications in alignment with product quality and performance.
• Implements new formula or alternate formulas for existing products by;
o Defining the chemical composition and nomenclature for manufactured substances.
o Developing product specifications in alignment with product quality and performance.
• Introduces new raw materials by;
o Reviewing the chemistry to make sure it meets application requirements
o Ensuring the vendor specs are in alignment with our end application.
• Be the CQPR contact for Marketing and Research to eliminate any obstacle with a product introduction.
• Oversee the overall PIP flow and generate metrics for the organization.
• Controls and manages the product deactivation and reactivation process.
• Responsible for effective coordination with AP Manufacturing, Logistics, Research, Marketing, and Procurement to ensure all product and raw material specifications, as well as product formulations, satisfy Nalco’s product quality requirements.
• Work with Naperville counter part for the development, documentation, and implementation of product and raw material Quality Specification for AP.
• Ensure all product formulations are maintained at the corporate level and only available to the active manufacturing plants.
• Responsible for training marketing, research, Supply Chain on product introduction process and the Nalco QA System.
• Work in cross functional teams to address key projects, such as, PIP work process redesign, LCCS for raw materials, master data synchronization (between SAP and System V) etc.
• Provides analytical supports by;
o Developing QA test methods.
o Troubleshooting product quality issues.
o Analyzing samples for specification development
