Description
In this position, you will be working under the Corporate Services (CS) Construction Engineering group that is responsible for deliver the best-value facilities design solutions for Intel's State of the art Fab, Assembly and Test facilities, data centers and all other critical support buildings and/or facilities around the world. You will be responsible for managing the engineering database systems, engineering software and all relevant documentation that are essential to the site project engineering teams. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Managing the overall facility systems utility forecasting and modeling for existing Assembly Test factories
- Working closely with facility project engineers and system owners in providing detail capacity analysis to support factory basebuild and tool install roadmap changes
- Coordinating and collaborating with factories Industrial Engineering team in preparing what-if' capacity scenarios on a quarterly basis
- Ensuring all facility systems capacity and Point Of Connection (POC) databases are accurate and updated
- Owning and managing the site as-built drawing Management and Point of Connect processes and procedures
Qualifications
You must possess a Bachelor degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Degree and experience requirements vary but preferably a Recent College Graduate up to no more than one and a half years of work experience. Additional qualifications include:
- Effective at problem-solving, including problem-solving methodologies, research strategies, logical reasoning and analytical skill set, critical analysis of information and cooperative learning
- Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork abilities
For those with working experience, the following experience would be an added advantage
- Knowledge of building and other relevant codes, environmental and construction law
- Effective at managing design, construction and startup of Mechanical, Electrical or Process systems (include sizing methods and material selection) associated with semiconductor facilities
- Ability to prepare facility system capacity versus demand forecasts for large and small industrial projects
- Effective with reading and interpreting construction contract documents
- Ability to work within a variety of management levels, between the owner (Intel) and the contractors, as well as outside clients and vendors
