Function: Engineering/ Product Development

Responsibilities: The Firmware Engineer, as a member of the RAE Systems, Inc. REC Firmware Group will be responsible for design, development, and maintenance of embedded applications for products used in rapidly deployable chemical and radiation detection monitors and multi-sensor networks for homeland security and industrial applications.

·         Architect, design and implement high quality embedded software, using C, assembly and/or embedded RTOS.

·         Embedded hardware/software feasibility study, prototype design.

·         Analyze and correct defects found in the firmware.

·         Engineering documentation.

 

 

 

Qualifications:

·         BS or above in Engineering or Computer field (EE/CS).

·         2 years embedded Linux/MCU programming experience.

·         Familiar with embedded C programming on 8/16/32 microcontrollers (Atmel, PIC, MSP430, ARM).

·         Familiar with chip-level and device driver programming.

·         Proven ability of architecture design

·         Experience in schematic design and PCB layout.

 

Nice to have:

·         Experience in Linux kernel/driver design.

·         Experience in CVS/Subversion.

·         Experience in Bug Tracking System.

·         Familiar with Windows/Linux software programming.

·         Familiar with Industry Control technologies (CAN, Modbus etc.).

·         Familiar with USB, TCP/IP stack.

·         Certification of 《全国计算机技术与软件专业技术资格（水平）考试》

 

 

 

 

 

²        Work on wireless sensor network system.

²        Provide RF/antenna design reference to mechanical and hardware groups.

²        Assist engineers to complete design of board schematics and layout.

²        Provide wireless system application support to China marketing.

 

u       Master degree or above in Communication and Information Engineering or Electronic Engineering

u       Board level RF design/layout experience on T/R switch, LNA, or power amplifier. Antenna design experience is a plus.

u       Understand embedded systems and can write C code

u       RF systems design knowledge or learn about the following communication standards: Zigbee, Bluetooth, RFID, WiFi etc. Knowledge of TCP/IP networking

u       Excellent teamwork, communication, and documentation skills

u       Customer oriented concept

u       Good English writing and fluent speaking

 

 

 

 

 

²        To research, develop and improve gas sensors.

²        To provide technology support for sensor users.

²        Duties And Responsibilities:

²        Development of new gas sensors;

²        Feasibility study of new gas detecting technology;

²        Improvement of present gas sensors;

²        Write documents including: feasibility report, test report, evaluation report, verification report, application notes, etc.

²        Communicate with marketing, manufactory group and instrument developing group.

²        Share knowledge with other colleagues.

 

u       Master or doctor degree, major in Optics Electronic, Application Physics, Precision Instrument or EE;

u       Fluent English in speaking and writing, at least CET-6.

u       Be skillful at experiment making and report writing.

u       Good at hardware designing.

u       Good communication and coordination skill.

u       Capability of fast studying new technology.

u       It is better to have firmware or software programming skill.

u       It is better to live in Jiading District or other districts around.

 

 

Responsibilities:

1.       Assist design engineer to do the schematic, layout, test, debug, document.

2.       Assist design engineer to do the feasibility studies.

3.       Assist design engineer to release the product to manufacturing.

Qualifications:

1.       EE bachelor degree above or related subjects;

2.       Be interested in instrument hardware design;

3.       Good English in reading and writing;

4.       Good communication skills and team work spirit;

Desired:

1.       Prefer to reside in JiaDing district, or all around;

2.       Familiar with Protel99SE or AD6;

3.       Experience in product design or electronic circuit design;
