成立于1998年1月的江苏中海船务代理有限公司由中国海运（集团）总公司和中海船务代理有限公司共同组建，是隶属于中国海运（集团）总公司从事船舶、货运代理业务的专业公司，中海船务代理有限公司的船舶代理、货运代理，在航运界享有盛誉。
江苏中海船务代理有限公司是中国海运（集团）总公司在南京港的船舶总代理，目前可为往来于中国港口的集装箱班轮、散杂货船、油轮、客轮等各类船舶经办：船舶进出港联检申办手续、联系引水靠泊、货物装卸；货物订舱、报关、运转、仓储、多式联运以及箱管业务；代签提单、合同、结算运费、代收代付款项；代办船舶供应、劳务输出、旅客服务等委托业务；联系水上救助、洽办租船、理赔、海商、海事处理等相关业务。
除经营船舶代理业务外，江苏中海船务代理有限公司还积极开辟国际货运代理，承办海运进出口货物的国际运输代理业务和国内海运集装箱货代业务，包括：揽货、订舱、仓储、中转、集装箱拼装箱、报关、报验、签单、短途运输和国内集装门到门运输、综合物流服务等业务，公司拥有一批敬业、负责、有丰富货运业务经验的业务人才。

China Shipping Agency (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. the general shipping agency of China Shipping Group in nanjing port, provides services to container liners, bulk carriers, oil tankers and passenger vessels entering and leaving Chinese ports, including arrangements of joint inspection, pilotage, mooring and unmooring for ships, and loading and discharging for cargo. The Company undertakes space booking, customs clearance, transshipment, storage, multi-modal transportation as well as B/L issuing, carriage contract signing, freight settlement, proceeds collecting and paying. The Company also attends to supplying of ship’s provisions, seamen recruitment and passenger services as well as salvage at sea, ship’s chartering, claims settlement, maritime and admiralty casualty handing and other businesses.
China Shipping Agency (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. besides shipping agency business, are also engaged in international freight forwarding, mainly handling international freight forwarding and domestic container forwarding agency services, including cargo canvassing, shipping space booking, warehousing, transshipping, container vanning and devanning, custom declaration, application for commodity inspection, B/L issuing as well as local distribution and domestic container door-to-door service and comprehensive logistics.
