Position 1:
DHG Lab Intern
Location: Shenzhen
Intel DHG(Digital Home Group) is one of the largest and fast-growing groups in Intel. Its products include the high-level STBs, consumer PCs and other consumer electronic products. The strong engineering teams are making best efforts to develop powerful and advanced products based on Intel's powerful SOCs to make Intel the No.1 consumer electronics supplier and leading company both in China and global market.
Job responsibility:
As an intern, you will have chance to touch the Intel newest SOC for consumer electronics and the whole embedded system for the high-level STB. Your responsibility will include but not restricted with following:
1. Validate the Intel's CE linux platform's basic functions;
2. Setup demos and test environment;
3. Duplicate customer's issues in Intel Shenzhen lab;
4. Help customer's project to locate the bugs' root causes based on validation data;
Requirements:
1. Major in EE or CS or Software related majors, and strong on the computer and software basic knowledge;
2. Familiar with the C/C++ language, have experience on linux and be able to use the following software technologies:
a. GNU Make system;
b. Autoconf, automake and libtool;
c. Bash Shell script programming;
d. Basic version control conceptions.
3. It's advantage for candidate to have embedded project experience, especially the video/audio processing related;
4. Patient and good team-work spirits;
5. Good on English especially reading.
6. Should be post graduate student and could work in Intel Shenzhen at least 4 days a week.
Position II
Wireless IOT Test Intern
Location: Shenzhen
Description
In this position, you will be responsible for 4G WiMAX lab IOT testing and Performance testing between Intel WiMAX silicon and WiMAX network.
Qualifications
You should be pursuing a Master's degree, majoring in Communication Engineering major. Additional qualifications include:
- Wireless communication background and knowledge in common wireless communication standards and technology (better familiar with WiMAX or LTE)
- Familiarity with Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing (OFDM), OFDMA
- Familiarity with the RF radio and protocol test equipment
- Good English writing and speaking skills
- Team work, motivation and communication skills
- Willingness to learning new wireless technology and wireless test skills
- Ability to work as an intern at least four days per week (weekend not included) for 18 months
- Experience with wireless lab IOT test and Performance test
