    About China ADC　
    Teradyne Application Development Center （ADC）, was formed in 2004 in Shanghai to provide test program development capability to TAG worldwide. It started with 10 people and now is the largest team in the TAG. This growth has driven by the many successes of ADC. Each year, ADC along with TAG delivers test services to all our important customers around the world in places like the USA, Europe, Japan, South Asia and Great China area.
    In Teradyne, China ADC is the only team focused on test program conversions. This expertise helps our customers quickly migrate their test programs over to our J750 and FLEX family of testers. It has provided conversion services to more than 300 projects.
    China ADC is the center for Teradyne’s new hire training program, Training Camp. This training program was designed and developed in Shanghai. ADC has trained more than 120 new hires since 2004. Many new hires enjoyed the experience to meet our Chinese engineers and to see China for the first time.
    2007, our new office in Hefei, China, represents the next area of growth for Teradyne by adding design services in hardware and software. Hefei was chosen for its proximity to Shanghai and its wonderful environment for our engineers.

    Hardware Engineer
    Job Description
    The function will be to create the schematic and layout symbols for the new components, sockets, and pogo patterns for all TAG groups.
    Skills:
    Electronic or Electro-Mechanical Engineering degree.
    Ability to read and understand component manufacturer's data sheets.
    Strong understanding of orthographic projection and mechanical considerations.
    can understand mechanical dimensional drawing, nomenclature, and tolerancing
    Experience with software tools: Cadence Allegro, Concept. and PCB Librarian OrCAD Capture and Layout experience would be a bonus.
    Some skill in mechanical drafting tools such as autocad, solidworks, ...
    Very high attention to detail. Must be able to get every dimension off the supplier datasheet incorporated into the library part.
    In-depth knowledge of IPC standards. (Ref. IPC-7351, IPC-7351A, IPC-SM-782).
    Knowledge of design for manufacturing of PCB's.
    Good command on English communication.
