Introduction

Based in Shanghai, the Decision Analytics team is a part of the regional risk management team under HSBC Risk Function. Its main business service is to provide analytical solutions to assist Personal Financial Services (PFS) in managing risk throughout the entire credit management life cycle for the entire Asia Pacific areas in achieving their business plans.

We are now looking for a self-motivated professional to join our team to develop technical and management solutions using advanced analytical skills.

Responsibilities

-         Develop and implement scorecards to assist regional PFS and risk management teams in managing risk for business growth.

-         Monitor the performance of all scorecards implemented to ensure the highest standards of quality are maintained.

-         Enhance and promote best practices in modeling techniques, automation and management processes.

-         Conduct and experiment with various segmentation and scoring methods in order to improve the accuracy and quality of scoring solutions.

-         Conduct and experiment new decision analytics techniques to support new credit/marketing strategies.

Requirements

-         Master graduate degree, preferrablely in Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Risk Management or equivalent.

-         Advanced programming skills preferrablely in VBA, Java, or SAS.

-         Have a global mindset and be able to communicate to technical and non-technical customers in a clear and convincing manner.

-         Strong project management skills.

-         English fluency in listening, reading, speaking, as well as writing is a critical requirement.
