Job Title: R&D Intern - Lab Chemist (3 months)

Required Qualifications

·       BSc in Chemistry, Food Science and Technology or related disciplines; Postgraduate degree is preferred

·       Experience in chemical analysis is preferred

·       Able to work 4 days a week

Job Responsibilities

·       Perform chemical analyses of raw materials, intermediates and finished products

·       Verify methods and results are according to Nestle quality standards

·       Interpret results, maintain technical data, write technical papers and reports

·       Assist scientific support specialist in implementing studies to evaluate the effects of various methods of processing, preserving, and packaging on composition and the properties of foods

·       Validate and implement new analytical methods

·       Maintain lab instruments and equipment in good working order

·       Support QA with analytical data for due diligence

·       Participate in chemical P-test

·       Manage and sustain GLP and SHE in the chemical laboratory

·       Train, coach and develop laboratory technicians

·       Perform activities as directed by the Group Manager or Scientific Support Specialist
