Job Title: Technician/Sr.Technician

Replacement or New Position:It is for both a replacement and a deferred hiring.

Replacement for and reason for their departure:
This is one of the two hires to replace 11 synergized former AWT China and Singapore TSS employees. To fill the need to enhance the water applications testing capabilities of STC.

Job Description
|
|
|
Scope of work:
· Design and carry out water treatment product testing as the main and priority job. Such testing include anti-corrosion, anti-scaling, water clarification, sludge dewatering, etc.
· Assist colleagues in paper-making and paper property testing when available.
Main responsibilities:
· Technically reporting to the PAL team leader.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Chemistry or closely related major.
· At least two years of working experience in a technical field.
· A Shanghai resident.
· Good work ethics, proactive work attitude.
· Good English communication skills.
· Good computer/Internet user skills.

If Position Not Filled, State Best Alternative: Cover the work by existing PAL staff by a combination of working on flexible time (since overtime is not allowed in the lab) and lowering the degree of the service quality of non-water work requests.
