The Benelux Chamber of Commerce is seeking to hire a part-time (0.5 FTE) Event Manager for its Pearl River Delta Office (PRD). The position is to organize the events of the Benelux Chamber of Commerce Pearl River Delta (BenCham PRD). 
 
Responsibilities
•    Planning and implementation of events, seminars, workshops and all other functions the Benelux Chamber PRD office coordinates and hosts. 
•    Organization of venues, invitations, speakers, marketing, advertising and funding of each event. 
•    Production of event project plans.  
•    Maintaining the events content on the BenCham website. 
•    Manage contracts and relationships with hotels and conference locations. 
•    Monthly monitoring and reporting of the statistics of the events. 
•    Budget control for events. 
•    Evaluate members' and non-members' attitudes to Chamber services and events, to ensure that the Chamber's output meets the membership's evolving needs.
•    Assist the Board of Directors in daily operations of the Chamber
•    Maintain positive working relationships with all members.
 
Profile 
•    Excellent command of spoken and written English, French, Dutch and Mandarin is a plus. 
•    Computer literacy in Microsoft Office and email. 
•    Strong organizational and interpersonal skills 
•    Ability to work to strict deadlines. 
•    High degree of accuracy. 
•    A team player with a proactive and flexible approach to work. 
•    Confident in dealing with clients and suppliers
•    Outgoing and presentable
