WCDMA DSP SW Engineer/Specialist (WH NB UP DSP)

 

 

Main Purpose of the Role and Key Responsibilities:
-Responsible for WCDMA BTS DSP SW architecture definition, specification, design, implementation, testing and maintenance
-Develop the WCDMA BTS DSP SW base on the TI 64+ DSP, including the dispreading, Rake receiver and interference cancellation
-Contribute to inspection/review of specification, design and interface
-Follow NSN BTS SW develop process. Deliver the WCDMA DSP SW predictably with high quality

Requirements:
-M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
-Basic knowledge on 3GPP standard, algorithms design and implementation.
-A good understanding of Digital Signal Processors and Digital Signal Processing.
-Experience in embedded software, Esp. in telecommunication equipment.
-Strong C programming skill and RTOS knowledge.
-Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin
- working experience in DSP or Communication fields are preferred
-Knowledge on LTE/TD-SCDMA/WiMax/WCDMA L1 UL technology (Rake receiver, interference cancellation, MIMO, Channel decoding, etc.) is a plus.

WCDMA NodeB DSP Debugging Application Engineer

 

 

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Join the new Hangzhou WCDMA NodeB user plane DSP debugging application team
- Responsible for transfer DSP debugging application competence from Finland.
- Make sure the efficient communication to user plane teams in other sites.
- Getting new application requirement, analysis it and implement it with good quality.
- Contributor for user plane testbility features development and analysis.
- Willing to travel abroad.

 

REQUIREMENTS:
- Has worked as engineer in DSP area, preferred with BTS user plane development or testing experience.
- Excellent English and communication skills.
- Good DSP development knowledge.
- Excellent C and C++ experience.
- Familiar with script languages, like Perl etc.
- Windows application development experience preferred.

System Testing Engineer/Specialist (WH NB)

Main Purpose of the Role and Key Responsibilities:
- Prepares test plan and test cases and performing test in real environment. Finds faults, reporting faults and following up faults status.
- Consults, supports and guides others toward requirements from internal and even external customers.
- Ensures the functionalities of BTS meet the requirement of specification on network and node level with test planning and execution. Estimates work amounts in own process area.
- Participates/organizes knowledge sharing activities and contribute to the accumulation of experience and improvement of process
- Be familiar with test process, usage of test tools and test equipments. Participate in inspection, workshop, task force and research group in daily work. Key inspector in own area.
- Involved in early SW design phase and provide testing feedback to improve testability

Requirments:
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in Computer Science, Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent.
- Good knowledge of wireless communication network, WCDMA/LTE background is preferred
- You must have understanding of SW development processes and you see the importance of testing in the process
- Previous experience in integration and verification work is definitely preferred
- Test automation tools usage/development experience is optional
- Fluent written and spoken English

DSP SW Test Engineer

(WH NB UP DSP)

 

 

Job description :
Nokia Siemens Network in Hangzhou WCDMA BTS R&D is looking for (Senior) DSP SW Test Engineers for WCDMA BTS (3G) development and research.
(Senior) DSP SW Test Engineers will be responsible for DSP SW functional testing as well as software integration testing. The area You focus on includes real-time applications for digital signal processing.
Test Engineers will focus specifically on test planning and testing activities. In addition, Test Engineers shall support test tools and automation development.
In addition to R&D work, you will have possibilities to be responsible for the communication and technology transfer of certain technical areas between Finland and China.
All positions are located in Hangzhou.

Requirement :
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. education in software or computer science.
- 1 to 5 years of experience in software testing is benefit the position. In addition to knowledge You have in embedded software you also understand the principles of software testing in a real-time environment.
- Prior WCDMA Network knowledge is preferred.
- To make this position yours, you have a toolbox of skills that includes the ability to gather information needed for test case planning and testing.
- Naturally extrovert, you have a passion for learning about new technologies. Knowledge of software development process and embedded systems is an advantage.
