为了推进学院的国际合作办学，推动全英语教学专业建设，引进国内外先进的教学理念和教学方法，加强学院内青年教师教学能力培养，上海交通大学材料科学与工程学院面向全球招聘若干名兼职（不涉及到人事关系调动）的本科专业基础课程、研究生专业课程主讲教师，招聘要求如下：

1、 教授职称，有5年以上相关课程教学经历；

2、 教学方法先进，教学效果优秀；

3、 采用全英语或双语教学（研究生课程要求全英语教学，本科生课程全英语或双语）；

4、 研究生课程主讲教师要求在所讲课程相关领域有一定的知名度；

5、 担任课程学时数一般为34～51，可安排在9周或18周内完成。

    本次招聘的教师主要担任本科生课程：《固体物理》（秋季学期）、《材料化学》（春季学期）等；研究生课程：与新材料、材料研究新领域、新技术相关的专业课程（春、秋季学期均可）。

 

    秋季学期一般为每年9月至次年1～2月；

    春季学期一般为每年2～3月至7月。

 

    工作报酬按授课学时数计算，学院提供外籍教师的来回交通费用、住宿条件；国内授课教师的住宿条件及来回交通费用可协商。

Part-time Instructors wanted: excellent teachers in the program of materials science and engineering for undergraduates or postgraduates

In order to bring in advanced teaching concepts and methods from prestigious institutions, and to improve the teaching skills of junior faculty members, SJTU-SMSE wants to recruit several part-time instructors at home or abroad. The job requirements are as follows:

1. Having a professorship and course teaching experience for more than five years;

2. English only or bilingual teaching (The postgraduate courses are required to be taught solely in English and the undergraduate courses can be taught in both English and Chinese.)

The teaching period is 34 to 51 class-hours, which can be arranged within 9 weeks or 18 weeks. The potential teachers are expected to teach the following courses: The courses for undergraduates are Solid Physics (autumn term), Materials Chemistry (spring term), and other courses for postgraduates are related to new materials, new research areas and new technology (spring or autumn term).

Autumn term is usually from September to January or February of the next year.

Spring term is usually from January or February to July.

The payment is measured by teaching hours. Moreover, the round trip and accommodation expenses of foreign teachers will be covered by SJTU-SMSE, and that of domestic teachers can be negotiated in details.
