1. Design HTML pages based on input from marketing and/or outside vendors;
2. Create forms, landing pages, and other pages to support events, promotions, and other lead-generating activities;
3. Act a partner with marketing to recommend best practices for web design;
4. Work with internal and external designers to implement HTML content to ensure adherence to PerkinElmer's branding and style guidelines as well as the compatibility with the website technical environment;
5. Provide training to content providers on content management system;
6. Perform testing of the PerkinElmer website during site upgrades;
7. Develop and maintain guidelines and procedures for the updating of the PerkinElmer website;
8. Support content providers with "writing for the web" best practices.
Position Requirement:
1. Technical Skills: Excellent HTML skills, experience with cascading style sheets and basic scripting skills. Good web graphics creation skills and experience designing and building applications in Flash is a plus. Knowledge of Web Content Management Systems is essential. We are also looking for someone who has a keen sense for where technology is taking web design and management in the coming years. Minimum of three years experience in website development.
2. Communication Skills: Effectively communicates with all levels of the organization verbally and in writing; produces clear, understandable documentation geared for all audiences English and Chinese.
3. Management of Resources: Incumbent must understand dynamics of a large organization. Allocates time and resources efficiently; continually seeks way to improve individual/team efficiency. Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and multi-task. Perform job requirements with minimal oversight and with excellent attention to detail.
4. Business & Organization Knowledge: Experienced in online marketing and web development.
5. Education: Bachelor's degree.
