Missions

On the exterior department, reporting to the lead engineer make the 3D/ 2D CAD design and geometrical tolerancing for all kind of all the exterior plastic parts.
Take into account for the design :
- The Interfaces
- Package/limit zone definition according to the technical requirement
- The Process constraints: tooling / injection / assembly line
- The performance requirements: durability, NVH, rigidity…
- The regulation Link to the parts design
- The cost, weigh and quality requirements.
- The Planning
Participate to the class A surface analyze.
Take part with the lead engineer to the different meetings (internal or supplier meetings) for the product and process convergence.
Make the design & drawing quality checking, according the technical guidelines of the department.
Make the reporting.

Activities

Styling & Architecture / Packaging/validation
o Realize the study and compare different solutions, in order to help lead engineer to make the concept choices.
o Participate to the “styling brief” confirmation: technical requirement for styling phase.
o Realized the sections book.
o Check, according the technical guidelines/the process feasibility.
o Participate to the class A & style definition surface analysis.
Design
o CAD design 3D & 2D including tolerancing of the parts.
o Check the robustness of the parts (respect of guidelines…). Be able at anytime to measure the difference between current design and technical design rules.
o Working very closely with the other department, realize the interface integration.
o Check the process feasibility.
o List the performances to ensure and work closely with CAE team in order to give reliable input data and take into account CAE requirements.
Project management
o Be aware of the mass, building BOM and set up part development plan according to vehicle development plan.
o Can organize design meeting on the right time with Lead engineer
o Be able at anytime to make assessment of the progress

0-2 years experience on exterior plastic parts design, Bumper design experience is preferred.
Be able to propose some concept orientations, according to the performance target & process feasibility.
Be able to make the detail design (3D/2D) from concept choice or from a rough first design realized by Lead Engineer.
Knowledge about PSA regulation and standard rules.
Styling & architecture convergence
Understand the architecture limitation impact for styling.
Understand the process limitation impact for styling.
Make styling proposal based on feasibility.
Tolerancing
Understand the process scheme (assembly line)
Understand GDT requirement.

中国技术中心的成立体现了集团务实的作风。为满足集团在中国和全球的研发需求以及充分利用中国已有的研发能力，集团迫切需要设立一个在未来几年时间内有成长潜力、具有竞争力，马上可以投入运营的中国研发中心。该中心将成为标致雪铁龙集团继本土技术中心以外，集团重要的研发中心之一。

标致雪铁龙(中国)技术中心是集团在华发展重要战略王牌，它的成立满足了集团的在所述方面的战略需要：
　　·更好地了解中国客户在造型设计、结构和服务方面的需求；
　　·在集团今后推出的产品项目立项之时起就将消费者的需求融入设计之中，
以推出适合中国市场需求、且融合市场优良的性能和竞争力的产品；
　　·在中国迅速发展；
　　·成为中国业务发展和合资公司发展的坚强后盾；
　　·影响产品潮流，带来新视觉、新创意，并预见发展趋势。
　　
技术中心位于中国经济和技术发达的上海，2008年9月开始投入使用。至2009年底，已经有近300名工程师、设计师和技术人员在中心工作，其中有80%以上的员工是在本地招聘的。到2010年，技术中心的工程技术人员将到达500人，负责整车及零部件的开发、车型设计等工作，设计中国消费者喜爱的车型。

该中心肩负了集团寄予的责任和厚望：在精确性、专业性和工作热情上成为集团典范！
