Key Accountabilities
To provide the daily routine IT servicedesk activities;
To liaise related service provider for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing computer hardware and computer peripherals and provide technical support for hardware installation;
To use ServiceDesk software (CA-Unicentre) to maintain accurately record and track problems or requests coming through the help desk;
Support the installation, configuration, upgrading, changing or moving of desktop and LAN computer operating systems, hardware, including loading standard software images etc.
Provide Voice, Mobile phone, blackberry, MFD etc daily services.
Assists business units in maintaining secure desktop and cabling; LAN infrastructure platforms.
Assists in security remediation and virus control efforts as needed.
Maintains accurate IT records regarding IT related inventory; software license compliance on all supported platforms, prepare IT reports, user training sessions and IT Documentation related activities.
Sharing the backup role to the team members.
Tasks as Assigned by the immediate supervisor
Qualifications: 1. Familiar with personal computers hardware and operating systems.2. Prefer have the experience in operations support.3. One year experience in voice systems.4. Experience in key systems technologies utilized in the Shanghai office.
Education:1. Minimum Associates degree in Computer Science or equivalent education/experience.
Technical Skills:1. MS Office and other desktop software tools. 2. Windows XP personal computing operating systems.3. Basic understanding of Network operating systems.4. Understanding of phone and voice mail adds, moves, and changes.
