Exclusive Independent Fashion Designer looking for an intern/general
assistant. My current lovely assistant recently left in order to
pursue a career with a furniture company and I wish her the best of
luck. Although my brand and workshop are small, the products are
exciting and are only sold in the most exclusive shops in Shanghai and
Beijing.
The label was established a little over a year ago, has gotten much
media attention from magazines such as Elle, Vogue, Esquire, etc., and
I am planning to open the first store by September. As with my
previous assistant, the internship will be a trial period of 2-3
months in which you will receive proper industry training, and can
later turn into a full time position. 1200RMB will be offered to cover
your transportation and food expenses.
Applicant must have a college degree in art/design or equivalent
Have a good sense of style and aware of trends
Be organized and responsible
Love fashion
Knowledge of software programs
Being a small and growing operation, this position offers great growth
potential as well as a good opportunity for those who want to get into
the world of fashion. You will learn about the design and
manufacturing processes working with a premium factory that works with
many prominent global brands, as well as interact with other well
known local designers, fashion editors, and learn about the overall
business in general. And, not to leave out the best part, you will
always have access to many free beautiful samples.
