The Waldorf Astoria Shanghai on the Bund will become the first Waldorf Astoria hotel outside the United States which is set to deliver one of Shanghai’s most luxurious guest experiences in town. It will have three stunning restaurants, two lounges, a bar and a library. Extensive banqueting facilities will aim to position the hotel as the first choice for meetings as well as wedding receptions in the city. A swimming pool, health club and spa will provide guests with luxury amenities to rest, rejuvenate and relax.

The 271-room Waldorf Astoria Shanghai on the Bund will comprise two buildings. The first will be the heritage building, located at No. 2 on the Bund, which was previously home to the Shanghai Club. Scheduled to open mid-2010, the heritage building will feature several uniquely designed restaurants and bars as well as a glamorous ballroom and 20 suites. Connected by a courtyard, and positioned on Sichuan Road behind the Bund, a new 251-room tower will be completed towards the end of 2010.
上海外滩华尔道夫酒店将拥有两座大楼，共271个客房，一期原址是著名的历史建筑外滩二号——上海总会大楼。一期将于2010年年中开业，提供设计独特的餐厅、酒吧、豪华宴会厅及20间套房。在大楼背后将建造一个庭院，连接华于四川路的二期新型现代建筑物。二期将于2011年落成，包含251个设计独特的客房。
