Position Title 
QC Technician 

Type of Position 
IFF regular employee

IFF Huangpu Plant 

Responsibilities 

Routine QC analysis 
1.        Performs Instrumental testing（Density, refractive index, titration and Gas chromatography etc), Sensory evaluation and Microbiological testing on raw materials and finished goods; 
2.        Existing laboratory equipment maintenance, calibration and validation; 
3.        New laboratory equipment and test method setup and validation; 
4.        Support supervisor and technical expert on Quality problems identification & trouble shooting/defect analysis; 
5.        External lab testing administration. 

QC record & document management 
1.        Be responsible for filing vendor COA, inspection sheet etc.; 
2.        QC data maintenance (data input, Usage decision, master data maintain etc.)  in SAP; 
3.        Be responsible for COA & PDS and relevant QC report issuance according to customers, commercial people and other department's requirements. 

Requirements 

Essential 

Be able to accept and follow QC shift arrangement  (day shift and night shift) 
Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering/Biochemistry/Food Technology 
At least two years QC related experience in Chemistry, Flavors / Fragrances or food industry. 
Be familiar with Chemistry, Flavors / Fragrances or food industry related analytical testing items., e.g. titration , density, relative index, microbiology, Gas chromatography, UV    spectrometer etc. and data analysis. 
Be able to achieve goals for QC operations by following SOP precisely and earnestly , deliver result in time, take initiative to find out on job improvement area, and Strong teamwork and interpersonal skill to win and maintain the respect of people and 
get their support and cooperation. 
Proactively Self-learning capability 
Be able to work consistently even pressure or challenge.

Preferred 
Good understanding of GMP, HACCP and ISO 
Sensory evaluation skill 
Experience in SAP application 
Good verbal, written and reading English communication
