The fellow will have two primary responsibilities: (i) development and implementation of high-performance microwave devices including various antenna and filter, and (ii) collaborate with scientists in the institute on interdisciplinary methodological and applied research. The fellow will be expected to participate in research leading to publications in top physics or IEEE papers. The fellow will also have opportunities and funding support to attend conferences and meetings. The candidate will also work with the principal investigator (PI) to pursue external funding for additional research projects. Position Qualifications: Applicants should have a PhD in microwave engineering, optoelectronic engineering, or photonics. The ideal candidate should also have a strong background in electromagnetics and microwave engineering (preferably full wave simulation skill, large size antenna design skill and electromagnetic wave theory) Strong English written and oral communication skills.
