LongPing High Tech, Chinese leader on the hybrid rice market is recruiting a research assistant for its new laboratory based at Shanghai.

The successful candidate will be involved in a gene discovery team and will perform molecular characterization of plants, gene cloning and vector construction experiments.

Required skills:

Requires a Master in Plant molecular biology.
Desired skills include a strong experience in Southern, northern, and PCR experiments and skills in gene cloning and vector construction.
Ability to plan design and realize complex cloning projects.
Be able to improve methods in order to be more efficient.
Excellent communication skill is critical.

Capacities to work in a team-based organization.
Use of standard software (World, Excel)
The use of bioinformatics software will be considered a plus.
Good level in English (read and speak) is MANDATORY
