Job Information:	Title： IT Application Engineer (Intern) Department：Saint-Gobain Asia-Pacific Delegation, IT Department Report to: Application Project manager	Profession: Information System Location: Shanghai, China Start: from Sep.01.2010 Duration: minimum 6 months
Job Purpose:	As part of Saint-Gobain IT team for Asia-Pacific region, the job holder shall assist the application team in rolling out and in implementing the T&E project.
Key Accountabilities:	1. Study and organize appropriate solutions to support roll-out process 2. Ensure the procedure of project roll-out. 3. Collect users’ requirements and improve the T&E system’s functionalities 4. Assist in finding out solutions to support user IT services and save costs 5. Preparation of related documents 6. Prepare necessary user training or illustration documentation
Qualification Requirements:	Typical Education Level: üMajored in computer science or related discipline üFluent in both written and spoken English üFor Chinese colleges: CET-4 must and CET-6 preferred Relevant experience, knowledge and skills: üKnowledge and Experience on software development, lifecycle and process üKnowledge on at least one major programming language, for example: JAVA, .NET and Database(SQL) üExperience in development (or rolling-out) of project of medium or large size üKnowledge around ERP, DBA or finance is a PLUS üKnowledge of Chinese, French, Japanese, Korean or Thai languages and / or culture will be nice to have Abilities, personal characteristics and competencies üStrong sense of responsibility and initiative / result-oriented üGood team organizer and good interpersonal skills üExcellent adaptation skills in a multicultural environment üLike to work within a team During this internship, applicant will learn and master technical standards associated to IT infrastructure, work as part of a wide IT team, and get familiar with project management structure.
Key Relationship:	Internal: üInteract with application team, IT department, financial department and HR department across whole Asia-Pacific area üWork with end users to meet their requirements and help to improve the functionality üReport to: Application Project Manager External: üCommunicate with T&E software supplier
Areas covered by this project	Applicant will assist in a project that covers whole Asia-Pacific area of Saint-Gobain: totally 60 Saint-Gobain businesses, with more than 16000 employees. There will be maximum 6000 Travel and Expense (T&E) potential users.

This internship is also a good opportunity to obtain a first working experience in a Fortune 500 multinational company.
