Job Duties:
-Assist in investment risk monitoring to perform high standard risk control for fund management.
-Maintain the central inventory of departmental rules and policies, and assist in maintaining a high standard of internal control throughout the whole company.
-Assist in the preparation of various risk management & internal control reports regularly.
-Assist in risk management desk reviews, as/when required by the management.
-Monitor the fund investment activities on real time basis to perform the trade surveillance function.
-Relieve compliance risk monitoring functions as/when required.
-Extend necessary supports to other departments as/when required.
-Work closely with other team members to strengthen the risk awareness culture in the company.
Job Requirements:
-University graduate with major in finance/statistics, Master/Doctor degree will be a plus.
-Has related working experience or internship in financial service industry, experience in securities or investment areas, especially risk management functions will be a plus.
-Extensive knowledge of fixed income, equity and derivative products.
-Capable of quantitative analysis, strong Excel and VBA Macro skills are highly preferred.
-Knowledge of Barra is preferred.
-A good team player with strong coordination skills.
-Good English and Chinese communication skills, both written and verbal.
-Well organized, attend to details and has pleasant personality.
