Software Engineer（软件工程师）

Responsibilities:

• Ÿ Implement each step in software life cycle including requirements analysis, designing, coding, and testing
• Ÿ Participate in research and development of innovative and high quality software products for measurement and automation
• Ÿ Stay current with the state-of-the-art and cutting-edge technology; apply the latest technology in software projects
• Ÿ Diagnose and debug problems in development, sometimes using other NI products
• Ÿ Write and review product documents in English
• Ÿ Take on short-term training in the United States for product development process

Requirements:

• Ÿ Bachelor degree or above in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related majors
• Ÿ Excellent GPA
• Ÿ Strong ability to solve problems and work independently
• Ÿ Thorough understanding of the following concepts and principles:
• ² Operating system components and design
• ² Computer system architecture and organization
• ² Data structures
• ² Development methodologies including object-oriented analysis and design
• Ÿ Work effectively in group development environments
• Ÿ Proficiency in both written and spoken English

 

 

Signal Processing Software Engineer（信号处理软件工程师）

Responsibilities:

• Ÿ Engage in research and development of innovative and high quality math, signal processing and simulation software products
• Ÿ Carry out and manage each step in the software life-cycle - requirements analysis, design, coding, testing
• Ÿ Work with Marketing and Sales department, as well as other R&D groups, to identify, define and propose projects

Requirements:

• Ÿ Bachelor or Master Degree in EE or math
• Ÿ Solid academic background
• Ÿ Good team work and understanding of communication
• Ÿ Proficiency in written and spoken English
• Ÿ Excellent software programming skills

Special expertise in one of the following fields will be a plus:

• Ÿ Electrical system (power electronic, motors) simulation
• Ÿ Fixed-point signal processing
• Ÿ Numerical analysis, symbolic computation, high performance computation
• Ÿ Power quality monitoring

Technical Writer 技术文档撰稿

National Instruments China is seeking talented, entry-level technical writers to join the R&D organization.

Technical writers at National Instruments partner with an engineering team to develop and improve product documentation. As an NI technical writer, you write technical documentation, collaborate with content experts to develop/enhance documentation content, and work with product managers and engineers to improve the usability of documentation and products.

Thus, as you advance your technical writing career, you have opportunities for many new challenges, including mentoring new technical writers, managing documentation project schedules, developing and improving processes, and serving as a customer advocate.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit English product documentation according to company guidelines, including printed materials, electronic help, and other forms of documentation.
• Send documentation through review and implement feedback
• Collaborate with content experts to learn about products
• Meet with technical communications group leaders to discuss documentation content
• Prepare information for publishing
• Evaluate industry tools and trends
• Work with project managers and engineers to improve the usability of documentation
• Troubleshoot help systems as they are integrated into products
• Research new solutions to improve existing processes

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in English, Technical Communication, or other major with writing-intensive component and/or science/technology emphasis
• Desire to succeed in a technical writing career
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills - must provide samples of excellent writing skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to handle multiple projects and priorities
• Persistence and initiative to learn
• Strong interest in and comfortable with technology subject matter
• Prior hands-on experience working with computers (hardware and/or software)
• Ability to work effectively in a group environment

 

Applications Engineer / ELP (Engineering Leadership Program) Engineer（应用工程师）

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to the customers via phone and email
• Configure and demonstrate virtual instrumentation systems to customers
• Conduct technical seminars and present customer training for NI Products
• Required to outstation to a certain region within China for field sales & technical support

Requirements：

• Bachelor degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Instruments, or other related engineering fields.
• Strong ability to solve problems and work independently
• Proficiency in English and communication skills
• Outgoing personality and customer friendly attitude
• Willing to relocate to a different territories in China for sales
• Outstanding academic performance
