Zhuzhou ABC Technical and Quality Manager Trainee Qualifications
PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS
1. Background in the physical metallurgy of steel products and steel alloys
2. Experience in evaluating the mechanical properties of steels.
3. Experience in evaluating the chemistry of steels including knowledge of spectrographic operations and other quantitative processes.
4. Experience in dealing with the heat treatment of steels including normalizing and quench and temper processes.
5. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English.
6. Ability to develop good people skills:
a. Ability to learn the art of communication.
b. Ability to function as contributing member of a team.
c. Ability to get difficult people to make changes that lead to improvement.
7. Good computer and computer systems skills including MS Word, Excel, and the ability to learn and function at a high level in BlueWave.
SECONDARY QUALIFICATIONS
8. Experience in foundry metallurgical processes (i.e. melting, heat treat, and welding) would be an obvious benefit.
9. Experience in quality management systems in order to understand how the requirements for the metallurgical processes fit into the overall quality organization.
