Application Engineer 应用工程师 (上海)

Location:Shanghai 工作地点-上海

职位要求 :

Responsibilities职责:

 

1) Handle the application engineering projects at allocated engine builders within the framework of the strategies and policies of ABB Turbocharging New TC Business;

2) Support allocated engine builders in the developments of their new engines;

3) Provide allocated engine builders with technical and commercial optimized turbocharging

solutions in cooperation with the Sales Engineers;

4) Support the Sales Engineers in sales promotions and end-user care;

5) Specify the technical features of the turbochargers for enquiries and orders;

6) Define the test material and fitting material;

7) Supervise the installation of new turbochargers and assess the turbochargers' performance during engine tests;

8) Follow up the TC operation experiences up to production release;

9) Provide thermodynamic solutions for TC field operation problem by request of the Technical Service Engineers;

10) Take the technical responsibility of TC retrofit projects;

11) Support the Technical Service Engineers in handling warranty claims and complaints in accordance with company policies;

12) Assess the engine builders' development trend and contribute to the internal market analysis (PMS);

13) Develop and maintain close cooperation with the Sales Engineers and Technical Service Engineers;

14) Ensure the steady improvement in the internal processes;

15) Apply "zero tolerance" in ensuring strict adherence to ABB Group Ethical Standards.

 

 

Qualifications任职条件:

- Master degree or above in marine diesel engine / locomotive diesel engine / mechanical engineering related to turbine machinery.

- Analytical thinking and familiar with sales techniques in a Chinese environment

- Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) and English, written and spoken

- MS Office, Lotus Notes, autocad / autodesk and other engineering tools.

- Absolutely trustworthy, able to work under pressure with enterprising spirit;

- A highly self-motivated team player and self-disciplined;

- Aptitude for problem solving;

- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written);

- Flexible style ("do whatever it takes" approach);

- Willing to travel extensively within China with occasional trips outside of China.
