Vacancy: Project Engineer

ATMOS International is a global provider of proprietary software systems for real-time leak detection, pipeline operational simulation and pipeline management systems to the oil, gas, chemical and water industries. We operate at the leading edge of technology and provide cost effective and customer orientated solutions. As a result of the continuous growth and expansion, we are seeking degree qualified individuals for the role of Project Engineer.

A diverse role, the Project Engineer will be involved in the whole life cycle of projects and will be responsible for:
• Preparing functional design specifications
• Designing, configuring and tuning leak detection, simulation and management software for oil, gas, chemical and water pipelines
• Performing software integration tests, Factory Acceptance Tests and Site Acceptance Tests
• Carrying out on-site installation and commissioning in different parts of the world
• Providing customer training and post installation support
The main skill sets required for this role are:

• Excellent ability to speak and write in English
• Strong engineering and physics understanding with a minimum bachelor level degree in one of these subjects from a recognised university
• Ability to quickly understand new concepts and ideas
• Ability to work alone or in a team
• Self starter and self confident
• Strong interpersonal skills and outgoing personality
• Attention to detail
• Ability to write documents to a professional standard
• Ability to work seamlessly with other cultures
• Ability to program in or C# is an advantage but not a requirement

At present, ATMOSi is considering both experienced engineers and university graduates.

Engineers with experience in the following areas will be considered:
• Pipeline operations or design for oil and gas companies
• Experience with SCADA systems
• Electronic or software design in process or automation industries

New graduates will be considered with the following qualities:
• Ability to communicate with people from different cultures
• Willingness and ability to learn and excel
• Strong Physics background with strong or C# programming experience
• Self confidence
