Job Description
 
Yahoo! has been providing the leading edge in Mobile products and services, and enhancing the day-to-day lives of millions of people worldwide. The Mobile Platforms team builds highly scalable platform services to help Yahoo! build great mobile products. The mobile platforms include Blueprint, a device independent framework for thousands of mobile phones, Javascript libraries for the highest-end mobile browsers, gateways and edge servers with the highest scalability requirements, backend services for mobile location detection, video streaming and much more.
 
Yahoo! Global R&D Center in Beijing is fully owned and operated by US based Yahoo! Inc. We are looking for experienced, passionate, and self-motivated Software Development Engineers to join the Yahoo! Mobile Platforms engineering team. In this capacity, you will participate in the design and development of next generation SMS Gateway and carrier partner integration. You will work with cross-functional groups, including product managers, QE and service engineers, and other engineering teams. 
 
Job Qualification

•    3-5 years of software development experience
•    Excellent communication skills
•    Be passionate for building high-quality products
•    Have a strong sense of commitment and responsibility
•    Strong problem solving and analytical skills
•    Experience developing and shipping server side software in C++ or Java and PHP
•    Familiarity with Linux environments
•    MS/BS in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
•    Passion in mobile technologies
•    Experience with SMS Gateway and SMPP preferred
