l Experience in electrical power high voltage and high current testing of switchgear and switchgear components, vacuum components, controls, and related technologies is a plus
l Good master of electromagnetic systems, and dielectric design
l Knowledge of thermal, mechanical and material engineering is a plus
l Knowledge of switchgear including vacuum bottles, encapsulation systems, sensors, mechanisms, controls, etc. is a plus
l Strong working knowledge of computer modeling
l Strong analytical skills and basic theory
l Knowledge of power systems and / or industrial automation & controls is a plus
l Knowledge of switchgear certification testing and GB, IEC, IEEE standards is a plus
l Working knowledge of design for manufacturability, reliability, and serviceability is a plus
l Experience operating successfully in matrix organization is a plus
