We are accredited by entities like WRAP, FLA, BSCI and SA8000, to perform social assessment and certifications. Besides our comprehensive Social compliance programs we also provide services ranging from training to special investigations covering labor law, human rights, freedom of association and environmental practices to mostly American and European clients.

ALGI was founded in 1994 by former Labor Department Officers, whose expertise is recognized nationally and globally in the labor compliance field. They have addressed numerous business, educational and community groups regarding the development of a compliance approach. In addition, their work has been highlighted in the New York Times, Newsweek and other media outlets.

The staff is geographically diverse, with professional background ranging from agriculture to economics, business and law. Job Title: Social Compliance Report Reviewer/Quality Control
Location: Shanghai (PRC)

Duties:
Review social compliance audit reports.

Other responsibilities assigned by supervisor.

Experience:
To be in advance of Senior Auditor standard and have knowledge of standards and codes e.g. SA8000 & WRAP.
To have attended formal training and or achieved qualifications or certificates in compliance audit.

Education:
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.

Job Requirements:
Full command of English language, both spoken and written.
Native Mandarin/Cantonese speaker.
Verbal & written communication skills at a high level with experience of writing comprehensive reports for a high level audience.
Team work, hard working and efficient.

Performing on site factory visits to determine Social Compliance and Corporate Responsibility status.
Reporting result of social audits to clients, according to their own requirements and/or ALGI standards
Research on Labor Law Issues.

Experience:
To be in advance of Lead Auditor standard and have knowledge of standards and codes e.g. SA8000 & WRAP Certification.
To have attended formal training and or achieved qualifications or certificates in compliance audit.

Education:

Job Requirements:

SA8000 or WRAP certificate is a MUST.

Flexibility for traveling, as the position requires approximately 30% time to be spend on travel.
