Job Description
MISSION
Draft and implement strategic sourcing plan to meet costs savings, quality and delivery goals for Asia Pacific operations. Seek, verify and discuss contracts with suppliers for Asia Pacific operations.
Support SBUs and other Honeywell safety products in achieving targeted sourcing plans and savings in Asia Pacific area. Communicate between Far East suppliers and SBU purchasing departments in order to achieve global sourcing action plans and targeted savings.
Commit and be responsible for the price, delivery and quality of goods supplied trough Global Sourcing Asia Pacific, for the concerned scope of supplies.
Work out the plan to lead the team and implement the procedures
MAIN ACTIVITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise and control clothing production & quality control with suppliers;
Managing the suppliers both pf fabrics and clothes by draft and implement a plan to address the day-to-day quality, delivery and supplier management support issues of the Far East suppliers.
Sourcing new products by working with SBU purchasing and R&D function in a high efficiency.
Generate and improve the cost/price control, in order to improve cash flow through improved terms and conditions with suppliers.
Draft global purchasing procedures (vendors selection, quality, tender, stock amount, payment terms, procurement) to be locally applied.
Keep to Corporation’s sourcing and operation guidelines and ensure legal and ethical standards are maintained.
Managing the team and set up/implement the procedure.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
At least 3-5 years in textile (clothing) sourcing and quality control in China.
Experience working with European or North American companies sourcing in Asia.
Experience working in WOEF/JVC Company would be a plus.
EDUCATION / SKILLSET REQUIRED
Textile engineering or fabrics dying diploma as basic professional background.
Advanced degree up to Master level desired, but not mandatory.
Fluent English is a must.
