What is the Production Function? UP stands for Unit of Production. The UP department works out a general production objective, supervises the production according to the standard in term of quality, SHE, process, productivity, cost/investment etc, schedules a short term production plan, controls the production quantity and maintain production equipment in good conditions and coordinates different departments for daily operations and new projects. In Production, you will be in permanent contact with: your external customers: distributors, your internal customers: departments of quality, logistics, commercial, warehouse…...

Learning For Development: A large proportion of your development is on-the-job with real hands on projects. If you are recruited into UP , it is likely that you will be in charge of related missions, such as project management, Productivity/Efficiency improvement, new investment etc. In addition we help you to make the transition from study to business with a comprehensive schedule of formal courses.
Your first role: After your 12 months, you are likely to take up a position as an UP Engineer in one of the 2 L’OREAL plants .
Your Career Path: Many options are open to you, for example: 1. Progress in Industry China – from Engineer to Manager – gradually taking on greater responsibility. 2. Move functions – through your interaction with different functions within the business, you may wish to progress your career in another related field, such as production, logistics. 3. Move Internationally – for recruits with particular flair and business talent – an International career is a possibility.

What is the Supply Chain Function? Supply chain manages all flow types - from raw material to finished goods, from factories to the international distribution centers, from our own warehouses and then to our clients. In supply chain, you will be in permanent contact with: your external customers: distributors and suppliers your internal customers: departments for production, commercial department, distribution platform … You will be completely responsible for the flows you are managing and have to ensure that information is structured and communicated. You guarantee the reliability of the supply chain databases.

If you are recruited into supply chain, it is likely that you will undergo a manufacturing experience, warehouse attachment and be given assignments in customer service and inventory control of a specific function. In addition we help you to make the transition from study to business with a comprehensive schedule of formal courses.
Your first role: After your 12 months, you are likely to take up a position in supply chain or customer service or distribution center within one of the 2 L’OREAL plants or Asia Pacific Operations in China.
Your Career Path: Many options are open to you, for example: 1. Progress in supply chain management in China – from New Launch Coordinator to Supply Chain Manager – gradually taking on greater responsibility and profit accountability. 2. Move functions – through your interaction with different functions within the business, you may wish to progress your career in another related field. 3. Move Internationally – for supply chain recruits with particular flair and business talent – an International career is a possibility
