职位描述/要求：
Position Description:
Spirent Communications is a worldwide provider of integrated performance analysis and service assurance systems for next-generation network technologies. Our solutions accelerate the profitable development and deployment of network equipment and services by emulating real-world conditions in the lab and assuring end-to-end performance of large-scale networks.
We are looking for Interns to join VoIP Engineering &PV team in Beijing.  In this role you will be an associate member of this team, developing feature testing cases, and conducting regression tests. Also to contribute to automation efforts in order to achieve better productivity.
Qualifications:
1. Postgraduate student in Computer Engineering or Communication Engineering who will be graduating in 2012.
2. Knowledge and experience of communication and associated network theories, such as TCP/IP
3. Extensive experience /solid knowledge of Telephony technologies
4. Requirement below is not a must but would be a plus.
•Working knowledge of VoIP protocols such as SIP, H.323, Megaco and so on
•Working knowledge of GW /Gatekeeper, SIP Proxy/Registrar/Presence Servers, Softswitch
•Some knowledge with legacy PSTN network and protocols ,such as SS7, V5 and ISDN to name a few
5. Must be a good team player
6. Adaptable to new environment and new technologies. Proven troubleshooting and debugging skills.
7. Good English communication ability, both in written and spoken
Responsibilities:
1. Test software releases for the certain product lines and related products
2. S/he will be responsible for the test planning as well as the hands-on test of this software
3. This individual will develop test documentation, including bug reports and final test reports, as well as provide inputs for release notes
Work Schedule
Work schedule will include training /mentor session and other possible training classes determined by the company. S/He should expect to spend a minimum 32 hours /week in the structure activities in our local office.
